I would like to thank all the spammers who joined the board and voted for me! Seriously though...You like me! You really like me! Oh wait that was Sally Fields acceptance speech!
I'm just so touched that people I would have never met if it wasn't for the internet and our love of weather thought enough of me to honor me with their vote for MOTM. Thank you.

I would like to thank all of those who voted for all the MOTM nominees. It is a privilege to be honored among the great nominees during this last month. I would also like to thank those who voted for me as your Member of the Month. This community is so diverse, with so many talented individuals. I am grateful to be a part of it.
It has been a busy winter season on the Winter Weather Forum (but not as bust as some of us in the south had hoped), which is where I have spent the majority of my time sojourning. However, the tropical season is fast approaching and I am sure we are in for another eye-opening year. I am sure we will have our share of late nights and early mornings, forecast disputes, intensity debates, wobble threads and accu-weather discussions. As always, I will be at Storm2K learning with the rest of you and trying to add whatever tidbits of information I can to help the discussion along.
Again, thank you for the honor and happy hurricane hunting!
Nelson (Air Force Met)
It is a honour to be voted member of the month given my location, although I was only 1,600km from Vince at landfall. Storm2k has a great mix of members from individuals interested in the weather to professional meteorologists. Hopefully everyone will stay safe in this upcoming North Atlantic hurricane season.
