That would be over the highland lakes. A little meltwater to replenish them.

I remember some ensemble outcomes like this in Feb 2011 for Okla and Ark. The axis was I-40 and two week period they had 2 blizzards a week apart (superbowl). Not saying we see that here but that is the last time I remember GEFS transpiring like that

12Z Euro trending towards some of the extreme GFS Members...much stronger with Arctic HP down the lee of Rockies and ULL south of Arizona (really taps into tropical moisture from the Pacific)

Edit: it goes to the MOST EXTREME member of the GFS ENS - Yikes!!!! :double: Heaviest Axis right along where GEFS is - both GEFS and now Euro operational very similar

Goodness, the plot thickens. Yesterday I phoned my mother in Uncertain that Christmas at Caddo Lake is in jeopardy. This is crazy. I do hope this all trends to snow or at worst sleet. Freezing rain, no thanks.

Damn..... Just Damn....

If these models even come close to what they are spitting out, It's pay back and then some for the last two "winters" of crap and humidity.

Coldest last 10 days of a year since 2000 on the way. Pattern similar to what brought major cold and snow into the deep south ( example Independence bowl in Shreveport. Aimed for the heart of Texas

Are you sure you are getting any work done, Brent? I am with you, sometimes it is hard to concentrate at work during times like this.

Does the Euro show anything for SELA or is the SE ridge too strong?

At this time, the SE ridge looks fairly strong but the cold/dense air will try to undercut
