Well I doubt we'll see any flakes fly here. The local mets and NWS don't really think so, so I'll agree with them.

It will be really interesting tomorrow to see if places like Tupelo and Oxford get some decent accumulations because they aren't under in an advisory or warning yet.

Its going to be close call for the gulf coast of Mississippi. Unfortunatly I'm In San Francisco on a business trip until the 19th. :( Hopefully I will see a little bit of snow before I leave. The local weatherman here says that the bay area mountains could see some of the white stuff Sunday and Monday. Daktar, hope you and your little woman see some snow. Snow seems to bring out more of the Christman Spirit in people this time of year.

It is just absolutely beautiful out there this morning. Wow...what a year...a hurricane AND snow!

The snow is still coming down and should for a couple more hours.

GMA mentioned that link. Just about every year there has been a big storm for TX, it has snowed.

God I hope so Boca, just looking at it, its so close and is still moving southand east for now and the NWS keeps shifting the warnings south and east and now mentioning further changes so I can hope, but if I have to drive a little bit to Mobile or something so be it! yeah it was warm yesterday on the eastside of the front but temps dropping rapidly now!

I find it amazing that being in the same state I can jump in the pool and you have a threat of snow possibly.

CajunMama, I am soooooo jealous! LOL, you're seeing some snow, and
here in southern middle-TN, we look to see the rain move out before the
cold comes plowing in - as usual!

Enjoy that stuff for me, too! :cheesy:

Yeah, totally amazing. I am seriously in shock that so many southern places are seeing accumulating snowfalls. It's crazy!

OK, who thinks we've got a chance in Mobile. The last time it snowed in LA, the Christmas snow, we only got a few flakes. It's dropped a degree to 39 and there's a light mist right now. I'd settle for a few flakes...or more. 20% chance maybe? Sure looks good on radar but I've seen that b4.

I think you definitely have a chance. It is snowing in gulfport/biloxi right now, so it wouldn't take much to get the snow over into southern Alabama.
