Oooh I don't know anything about the guy in this video or how reliable his forecasts are but I like how he is predicting another above average snowfall for us here in Texas! Winter seems so far away though with this brutal heat we have been experiencing this summer. Hopefully our drought is over by the time it starts to get cold down here too!

I know y'all want snow but here is one dissenting voice from the area that cold from Siberia will come through....GO AWAY!!!!

:grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr:

I don't mind sharing our arctic air but I draw the line at the above (will have all my fans facing north this winter if'n he is right).
All I need is some mid-60s. 8-)
hmmmmmmmmmmmm that sounds suspiciously like the temps my location is under now:

63°F
Feels Like : -
Wind : W 8m/h
Sunrise : 5:17
Sunset : 20:58
Relative Humidity : 83%
Pressure : 1,014.80 mb
Visibility : -
Ceiling

I'd gladly share the above ( NO NEED TO SEND ANYTHING FROM DOWN THERE MY WAY) but unfortunately yer recent tropical gift to me fried all my fans and turbines (gotta get them repaired before Siberia comes knocking  on my province's back door). BTW those %$#^&$ cockroach ridges you folks get are something else (those turbines really did try)!

p.s. in 1936 Americans stampeded North (if you haven't had holidays yet I'd suggest Western Canada or whatever States are still cool)

I need relief!!! 24+ days above 100 is enough. My electric bill is insane this year. So glad the days are getting shorter. I think it's time some of us begins work on predictions and outlooks! Unless you already canceled winter...

The question is...Will they be "likkered up" when they get together to issue the first comments? Will UT beat OU in football? Will Van Halen ever get their album out? Who was Pink in Pink Floyd? Those will be the great questions for the PWC....

I long for winter. I would not be surprised if upcoming winter has strong Arctic blasts.

Me too Ptarmigan ... me too!

Not sure yet about this winter but I'm hoping it is an ENSO-neutral winter and not another La Nina. We'd all love an El Nino but I'm not reading/seeing much hope for that.

Given the hottest week is coming up (probably for the summer) with highs pushing 110 for north Texas, anyone want to take a guess on the first date of the first big fall front? I'm going to say October 3rd.
