Beaumont Snow Pics!

I live just to the west of Beaumont. It started snowing about 9:45 p.m. last night and snowed just about all night, sometimes light, sometimes heavy (like a south TX blizzard in my eyes... lol), and finally stopped shortly before 5am this morning. Early in the night, it sleeted for a little while as well, but then just snow for many hours, the rest of the night.

My very own Winter Wonderland! Simply gorgeous!

About 3pm this afternoon, this is what was left of our little snowman friend. He's shrunk a little more at this time, but as the temperature is dropping now, it looks like he partially survived the day!

There's still a little scattered snow in some grassy areas, on parts of roofs, and on the decking of those steps I posted, stuff like that. Unfortunately, most of it is gone, though. And I'm already ready for more! Off to buy better gloves and snowshoes, though. I thought my feet were going to break off. lol

Unbelievable. Un-freakin believable! I didn't even get a dusting up here just south of the Lake Conroe dam! Yes, I'm jealous. I would of given my left....er, I mean I would of loved to have gotten at least a half inch of that! lol

Seriously, very nice pics SG. What a winter wonderland that turned out to be for you. It doesn't get much better than that, that's for sure. Thanks for sharing.
