Thanks for the avatar comment! Aside from the temps, you could really feel the dew point drop and dry air, it really feels like fall. Here's to hope it flies through AUS and HGX with all the glitz and glamour.

Side note: A little bummed out about the longhorns lost at home, unexpected. :( The cooler weather somewhat keeps your mind off it.

My bet is the week of Sept. 19th.

Well, I was off a little. I said the week of Sept. 19th and here it is Sept. 26th. But trust me, the north wind is blowing strong in Grayson County and it's even a bit chilly outside at times.

Fall is definitely here in the Red River country!!! :D

I'm a bit hesitant to say complete summer cancel, but it's looking more likely the constant oppressive heat and humidity may be gone for the rest of this year. The pattern will likely hold for awhile with northerly flow. Another Fropa next weekend! Keep blowing them coming Canada! :jacket:

We've definitely had our first real cool front here in Houston. Low at the house this morning was 59f. Official low was the lowest temp recorded in Houston since May 9th. This week's weather looks to be GLORIOUS!!! I can handle 50/60s to 80s for a long long time!!
