Thanks guys, finding out at the age of 49 that your body can flex like that is something I would not want to wish on my worse enemy...one thing though they say to put ice on something like that I had plenty of ice on my legs and lower body on the way to work :froze:  , :D

Now 3-6 inches tomorrow nite into Friday???? And another storm on the 25th??? And another one on the 2nd??? Sigh, time to find out if the hubby's buddy studded tire business is still around

Lucked out last night. Each time the forecast was updated, the amounts were lowered. I looked like the bulk of the storm was to my north by 10:00 pm or so anyhow, so the tail end didn't have much to work with.

Getting ready to leave from the job here in Philly and man it's cold! Its 22 in Philly and 19 at home...brrrrrrrrrrrr :cold:

UNCERTAIN ZONE WHERE SMALL CHANGES IN TEMPERATURE WILL MAKE A
CONSIDERABLE DIFFERENCE IN PRECIPITATION ELEMENT OUTCOMES.

HOWEVER...A WINTER WEATHER EVENT IS COMING.

A MIX OF SNOW... SLEET OR FREEZING RAIN AND RAIN WILL DEVELOP OVER
THE AREA BETWEEN 4 AM AND NOON WEDNESDAY AND PROBABLY CHANGE TO ALL
SNOW DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON OR EVENING AS THE STORM PASSES
EAST OF NEW JERSEY AND WINDS SHIFT TO GUSTY NORTHERLY.

RAIN IS EXPECTED WEDNESDAY...TURNING TO A PERIOD OF HEAVY SNOW
BY WEDNESDAY EVENING BEFORE ENDING BY THE START OF THE
THURSDAY MORNING COMMUTE.

* ACCUMULATIONS: 5 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW...WITH A COATING OF ICE
POSSIBLE EMBEDDED WITHIN THE EVENT.

* TIMING: MIXED PRECIPITATION WILL START WEDNESDAY MORNING
BETWEEN 4 AM AND THE END OF THE MORNING COMMUTE. THE MOST
INTENSE PERIOD OF SNOW AND WIDESPREAD HAZARDS IS EXPECTED
BETWEEN 6 PM AND MIDNIGHT. SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER
HOUR ARE POSSIBLE.

Left at 5:30, just started snowing in Lansdale, get to the NE extension, visibility is shot, 45 mph max, PA turnpike was the same until past Bensalem then it was wet until NJ, NJ turnpike snowcovered, 30mph max, got to work at 7AM and it is snowing here in Wrightstown NJ...I don't think I am going to work tonight in Philly.

They certainly were not expecting the snow we received in the morning. Fortunately, the further south I went in the morning, the better it got until it was all rain. I think the the SUV and truck that I saw spin off the side of the AC Expressway had passed me earlier... :grr:

Now it's sleeting and snowing. I did see lightning this evening on the way home.
