I will start off in Saying that I am a beginer at most of this. But you look at the 216 hrs and the 240 Hours and looks liek a storm could be in the making. Starting down south and if it turns north into another Nor' Easter it could be bad for the NorthEast! Am I just looking to much into nothing or nothing at all? Just asking. Could be something we may have to watch.

Simply too far out to know for sure. There's going to be a 'warm up' before the prediction by many forecasters of a return to winter possibly the second week into Jan. Guidance suggests the NAO to remain negative which is a positive for the eastern conus regarding cold and stormy. That's the best place to start. As for specific systems, it's all speculation at this point.
