Check out these temperatures.

The official low hit -40F, tying Wolf Point Montana for the coldest official reading in the United States today (beating every station in Alaska by a large margin).

Our min gauge thermometer read -48F.

I'm sorry, but it looks like that thermometer says -50F.

I was looking at Taos/Angel Fire the other day and aghast at the cold up there. Just, wow.

Yes; it does. That one is from Tabernash, which either fortunately or unfortunately (depending on the point of view), doesn't have an official weather station.

:cold: :froze: :froze: :jacket: :sled: :yow:  :shocked!: And I'm complaining about being below freezing for 88 hours?? I really do not know how people can function in that kind of cold.

And here we go again. After a couple of days with very warm temperatures in the 20's and maybe even 30 and very mild nights in the single digits and perhaps even above 10, we're predicted to get cold again:

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.ph ... 107.55&e=1

Of course, almost everytime they predict temperatures in the -26F range, it's usually in the -30's.
