I think it's adorable how people in california call sleet "hail". =)

I am not a meteorologist, and any posts made by me are not official forecasts or to be interpreted as being intelligent. These posts are just my opinions and are probably silly opinions.

I found that funny too - I probably would've called them ice pellets myself had I experienced what they did in the video, because I would've at least known that hail only comes with T-storms (I don't recall any local mets here even referring to the term "sleet" in any forecasts that I can remember.)

The person I got the report from lives in Temecula. Her daughter was 45 minutes away(I presume at Big Bear)and was snowed in and couldn't get out. She has no reason to lie about the snow at Disneyland and if she actually witnessed it I know she knows the difference between hail, sleet and snow.
I understand what the doubters are saying about the conditions, but were those readings taken at Disneyland or at a station in Anaheim? There is plenty of elevation differences throughout the LA area to say the least, so I do believe it was snowing at Disneyland.
