I knew this nice above zero stuff wouldn't last.

Tonight: Patchy fog after 11pm. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 0. Wind chill values as low as -10. North northwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming south southwest.

Sunday: Snow likely, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 19. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north northwest. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Sunday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around -5. Wind chill values as low as -15. Northeast wind around 15 mph.

Monday: Mostly sunny and cold, with a high near 9. Wind chill values as low as -20. North northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around -16. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 19.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around -6.


At least it came late this season.

Have y'all even gotten below 0F yet? Buffalo Airport (NY) just picked up their first measurable snowfall yesterday (a whopping 0.4")...the latest record is December 3, set back in the 1890s...and they missed tying it by a day! Feels more like fall than winter here. Last year this time, there was quite a bit of snow on the ground. Now? Barely a dusting, what is left from yesterday that hasn't melted off yet.

Last night was our first. Since we lived here, it ties with 2008 as being the latest in the year we've gone without dropping below zero below.
