Just stepped outside of my house in Grand Prairie and I could see my breath also. Hey Porta, as long as your outlook is cold and snowy, take as much time as you need. :cold:

I'll tell you right now friend that you definitely will enjoy a snow event this coming winter. In fact, I think several wintry weather events may impact the DFW area between December 2012 and February 2013.

More to come ... the plan is to finish and release this coming weekend.

I want steam!

*jealous*

I love those Old Farmer's Almanac graphics. Evidently they have a different definition of "mild" than most....*mild* and snowy, eh?

Great googla moogla. Dadgum drunk meteorologists. LOL I saw their photos on TMZ last night. What was with the dancing bear and the Jerry Springer Show theme song? Last year they read tea leaves. We got a warm winter. This time, crystal ball? I would like snow and tons of it.

2 days 6 hours and counting till the Autumnal Equinox! Days will get shorter than nights and the sun angle will be on par with mid-March!

Speaking of the sun..solar cycle 24 peak is this winter, however if one has been following it the sun is essentially sleeping.

Here is an interesting thread. I like the "Cold and Wet" or "Snowy" for Winter and "Cool and Wet" for Summer 2013 over a lot of Texas!
Btw, I am not an Aggie and am not a part of their blogging site, I just like the maps themselves that were on their site. Thought I'd add that in case I needed to do so.

Does it involve you hiding from the cold and winter precip? If so, then yes.
