I'm not seeing any snow cover. I just checked Chattanooga, Asheville and Spartanburg. No local Tampa Bay forecasts are showing anything under 37F including Lakeland, which can often drop in radiational events. Where is your info coming from? Love to check it out as I decide how much I need to prepare the growhouses and/or heater.

ANOTHER late season cold shot! No snow FGS but still very chilly for early March a-coming....Yesterday had 85F dewpoint 71F muggy. I even put the A/C on (I'm fighting a bad cold so I needed it). To think this warm air mass can be replaced so dramatically. It is foggy out, 73F right now at 8am. I'm watching the cold coming down like a hawk - and dreading it. I hate winter. :cold:

I live in Lehigh Acres. Southwest Florida. East of I75. It was 38 this morning. I was over the sudden late arrival of Winter in late February. What the heck is going on? :cold: I can't remember March being this cold.

Colder at your place than mine, 100 miles north! We were 40F for the lowest although today only hit 57F. Yes, I've lived here 25 years and this is the coldest, longest cold snap so late. We've had a late cold night before, but never day after day! I am READY for spring! :cold:

As it turns out.. for my area... March was colder than December, January and February AND it hasn't been this cold in March since 1932!

Seems to have let up finally. Humidity is working its way back in and warmer days are back. Soon I will be bitching about how HOT I am.

The way the weather has been here in S. Florida at least, you might be waiting some time! The weather is acting like summer out there.

It sure is. When the first front came through in mid October, I was elated. I through open the windows and reveled in the comfortableness. Then it left leaving me frustrated and hot again. I expected better from November. Grrrr

52 degree temperature range from central Florida to the FL. Panhandle: I'm not sure I've ever seen a wider spread before: 80 in Orlando, 28 in Jay, just north of Pensacola, FL.
