Below normal snowfall on the Gulf Coast. If normal is about zero, what is below normal? Warmer than normal, maybe? :grrr:

crap...unless that :uarrow: above normal snowfall ends at the International border. :roflmao: :crying:

I think we will be breaking down and purchasing that snowblower my husband has been drooling over (will blow it ALL Texas' way).

Not speaking for Wxman57, we will take all of it. We will just have it go over or around his house. :)

No need for hope! 57's reign will soon end. Screamer has already taken the initiative to aim her fans at his defenses and blow her cold Canadian air our way! The PWC will have limitless resources this winter. The photo below was taken outside of the PWC and the line of trucks winded down the road as far as the eye could see. I've heard reports that the line of Grey Goose trucks stretched so far that I-35 was at a stand still from Austin to their storage facility in Arlington. Austin traffic was so backed up it would seem as if it were rush hour on a Friday with 5 ft of snow on the ground during a mandatory evacuation of the coast due to a tropical disturbance threat.

Now that is my kind of delivery!!! :cheesy: :cheesy: I am encouraged!!

I altered that forecast map to more accurately depict the wishes of the majority. I made sure to even include our friend RGV way down south and our friends from the SETX/SWLA thread (can't forget my roots!). I made a point to remove any official markings on it, but if it is against the rules to alter maps in such a manner, mods feel free to remove it. I even left 57 a bike route free of snow to warm and sunny Mexico :D

With this kind of good work ravyrn ... we may have to open an East Texas office of the PWC and have you in charge?!

Feels nice to have the first "real" cool front of the fall. Looks like we will be getting some more shots of cool air over the next couple of weeks.

Good start for all the snow that will be coming this winter :)

Joe Bastardi tweet.

Plot thickens for end of month.

Yes, Dumas and Dalhart had snow flurries this morning and temps in the mid 30s.

Now that we are leaving the season of boring weather Hell, temps get colder and potential Winter weather emerges, I come out of hibernation and start posting again! :D :cold:
