THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
MONTANA...SOUTH CENTRAL MONTANA...SOUTHEAST MONTANA AND NORTH
CENTRAL WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THE PROBABILITY FOR WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER TODAY AND
TONIGHT IS LOW.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

THE WEATHER PATTERN WILL TURN COLDER BEGINNING MONDAY NIGHT AS A
CANADIAN AIRMASS SURGES SOUTHWARD INTO MONTANA. EXPECT HIGH
TEMPERATURES MAINLY IN THE 50S ON TUESDAY...THEN THE 40S TO LOWER
50S ACROSS THE PLAINS WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL
FALL NEAR OR BELOW FREEZING WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY NIGHT.

SOME PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON INTO
THURSDAY. SNOWFALL WILL IMPACT THE MOUNTAINS WITH A MIX OF RAIN
AND WET SNOW ACROSS THE LOWER ELEVATIONS BEGINNING TUESDAY NIGHT.
THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR A PERIOD OF ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL
WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING
. IT IS STILL TOO EARLY TO
TELL EXACTLY HOW MUCH SNOW WILL FALL...BUT IT APPEARS THE NORTH
SLOPES OF THE BEARTOOTH...ABSAROKA AND BIG HORN MOUNTAINS COULD
RECEIVE SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOWFALL. EVEN THE LOWER ELEVATIONS
COULD SEE SOME SLUSHY ACCUMULATIONS ON GRASSY SURFACES...INCLUDING
BILLINGS. THOSE WITH TRAVEL OR OUTDOOR PLANS SHOULD MONITOR THE
FORECAST CLOSELY. IF A SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL DOES DEVELOP ALONG THE
FOOTHILLS...TREE AND POWER LINE DAMAGE COULD OCCUR.

Bizzles,
Are you in Montana or N.J.? We are supposed to be in the mid 40's for lows here in north Arkansas by Friday night. I'm looking forward to fall weather.

NJ but I have an addiction to snow fall.

Just hyping the other winter watchers here up ;) first snowfall of the 2014-2015 winter and it's still summer!

I'm hoping for NO snow or ice at all this winter. I don 't like freezing temperatures, but I can deal with them. Snow and ice present a whole range of other problems however. I'll take the precip, as long as temps are over 40.

Canada's not the only place seeing painfully early snowfall this year. East Rapid City, S.D. saw their earliest recorded snowfall on Thursday.
