Thanks for doing that. Yeah, I'm getting light freezing drizzle now at my place. I'm on NWS Chat currently and they have issued a Special Weather Statement. Not sure if it will end up anything beyond that. Hope not.

Man, this little shortwave is an overachiever!

I think it's just getting started!!! The temps will fall eventually. 27 is making surfaces glaze. But whoaaa Nelly the IH-45 and the Mopac, Flyovers etc? Could get interesting...

Looks like low pressure forming just across the Red River on the WV Imagery (really super zoomed in). A Suprise Winter Storm in the making perhaps? A WWA may come next.

Hopefully people are getting home and off the roads ASAP. I'm just getting back to the Rain Cave from a store a couple of blocks away and the windshield wipers weren't doing much to remove the ice accumulating even with the defroster on.

Yeah, really starting to show up west of Brenham. Wonder if it is making it to the ground??? Definitely looks like the atmosphere is getting moister.

Guys, this is pretty awesome. I can’t remember the last time I had a three day fire going in the fireplace.

Funny you mentioned lol, I was planning on getting that done after the stop at the store until the freezing drizzle started. Made it to the Rain Cave without incident but had to open my window to look out the last couple of hundred feet.

Glad you made it. The sticker can wait. Looks like another central/southeast Texas winter treat.

As moisture starts to fall in my area, temps should drop. Wondering if we will see upper 20s and ice/snow.

32 here now.

It's all of 33 here in Baytown, and something very light is coming down. The dogs came in damp.

EWX (NWS San Antonio/Austin) about to issue a Winter Weather Advisory due to roads/bridges/overpasses icing over.

Getting a return on the radar out in Parker County. Not sure what is going on ? Anyone out that way to verify precipitation?
