Just rain so far in Weatherford, but temperature steadily lowering. Not nearly as much wind as was forecast here.

NWS DALLAS :
"Finally, one note about near-term model guidance: current
observations including satellite loops and data from our
presently-ascending weather balloon indicate that the core of the
upper-level low is perhaps some 30-35 miles northeast of where
all model guidance expects it to be. Since thermal profiles are
still rather warm, the concern for snow mixing in with rain at the
Metroplex sites Friday morning remains low, but this will be
something we'll monitor carefully tonight as models begin to
ingest the evening RAOB data. "

Hey so not the best picture lol. It’s was raining really hard for just a little bit. You think this is really small hail or a little sleet mixed into the rain?

Just had a very heavy downpour here in Ponder, TX. Very cold and lots of wind. What are we to make of the real time showing the track north of where it was modeled to be?

I’m not looking at any soundings but knowing what I know about the system it certainly must be tiny hail falling from the sky not sleet, or just dirty muddy leaves.

Looks like hail to me. Has a clarity to it not normally seen in sleet.

I've been yawning so much that I didn't even hear the breeze.

It’s pretty darn breezy down in SE TX. Temps have been plummeting as well. I’m sure the winds make it feel much worse though!

So the lack of activity on this board tonight makes me think this is a nothing event. Where's the wind? What's going on out there? What has changed last minute from what the models were saying earlier?
All hope is lost for this one?

No, I’m in the same boat as you. Been waiting to hear from the top 3 guys, but it’s pretty much going as planned so far.
