Yep. 3-6" already! :o Maybe that is normal for them, but it seems a little early to me.

I am not in the western U.P., so I cannot see for myself what they have received. But, I have heard reports of up to 5" in some areas out that way. Here in Marquette, it's been very cold all day. We had some snow early, measuring to about a dusting on the grassy surfaces, but then the sun came out for awhile and melted it. But, we are now seeing another batch of snow moving in, and we've got a dusting on the ground again! Looks like this may continue for awhile, too...so we may see a few inches before it quits.

They are predicting more snow for tonight, so we'll see how much we have in the morning. Did I mention it's cold here? Brr! Only in the upper 30's!! :o

Well, where I was at, we only measured about 2 inches of snow from this event. However areas just west and south of Marquette picked up anywhere from 3-6 inches of snow! It even produced power outages. Some 1800 people were without power in central Marquette County because of the heavy-wet snow. And the leaves are still on the trees, so that made things worse.

Sounds like this weekend's cold-blast won't be as cold as this last event, so they are talking a little less snow. :)
