Shifting from summer to winter

#1 Postby WoodstockWX » Wed Oct 01, 2003 10:47 am

After nearly endless humid muggy days in the 70s and 80s, this week up in the NE most will remain in the 50s and 60s for highs with lows in the 30s and 40s.

Tuesdays low was 38F and todays low has been 37F.
Normal high and low for the date is 67/45, so it's going to be and has been 5-10F below normal this week.

I have attatched a compiled list of 'norm' highs and lows for my area.
(I had a total list of norms for the whole year but I lost them so I'm working on the other 9 months as we speak)

I went for a walk today, and was actually still cold with a sweatshirt on!

Seriously though, it feels SO nice, I love the cool, crisp autumn air.

And by the time October is over I should have seen at least my first flurries.

Had 37 degrees at my house this morning, and expecting 34 tomorrow morning with the first frost of the season. Beautiful fall weather, if you ask me! 8-)
