With respect to total rainfall at DFW, Spring 2024 isn't even close to cracking the top 10 wettest list (*ONLY* 15.85" to-date)...

I haven't looked at the numbers but I would imagine that the warmth is being primarily driven by lows getting hung up b/c of all the humidity.
Also, WPC is highlighting North Texas in both the D4 & D5 ERO

I'm not ready for spring to be over.

Enjoy this wetter pattern while you can this year because it still appears with a fully-coupled La Nina atmosphere and our never-ending -PDO, the Spring of 2025 will be much drier for SCTX & SETX next year. As you already know, I've been looking ahead to 2025 for over the past year now. Hopefully, I get proven wrong this time next year.

Except it really hasn’t been a wet pattern for me. I’ve only had 1.25” in the past month.

There have been several setups this season that looked good on paper but failed to execute/deliver for various reasons (thus emphasis on the "exhaustion from teasing" mentioned in my reply).
At this point, I'll believe it when I see it.
