Looks like lows in the mid to upper 40s next week. Winter is gone but at least everyone got to experience it this year - even indoors. :cold:

Not always! This La Nina will FUEL Supercells!

Saw this Tweet that was posted (Not by the user though) by 869MB

A La Nina combined with a -PDO & a +AMO is a Crazy Severe Storm Season in the Spring, but a La Nina with a +PDO favors a slow season . . .

We've been in Colorado all week and this storm has people buzzing. We were out in the Collegiate Peaks area most of the week and came back in to the Springs to clean up before heading back to Texas. Models have been all over the place and even now range from we'll be snowed in to we won't have much problem at all getting out tomorrow.

Last I saw, Boulder and Denver were the big winners for some insane totals. I'll be in Boise starting Sunday for a recon mission for a potential move in the future. Wife and I will be empty nesters in a few years so who knows. The weather should be perfect with 30's-50's in the forecast, well north of the crazy snow in Colorado.

Made it to CO. To say the drive was living hell would be putting it lightly. Roads are almost impassable. Thanks to the Tacoma we made it pretty easily. I’ve never seen snow like this. Solid whiteout and just piling up fast.

We pulled the plug on trying to drive back to Texas today after getting some road reports from the Trinidad to Raton area this morning and then reviewing the SPC update for the Panhandle. If I didn't have the family in tow, I would have been tempted to try get down to the Panhandle for the storms. However, it sounds like storm motion and speed made it very difficult to chase. So we are just hanging out watching it snow but this system keeps slowing down and they keep bumping snow totals for tomorrow...

Next Tuesday (3.16.2021) needs to be watched very closely . . . Highest threat is likely in either Central or Northestern Oklahoma . . .
