Just got a second round of small hail for the night with the leading edge of this line. It actually started hailing before it started raining. Not bad considering the relatively low dbz for hail. Storms tonight had a little more oomph than I thought

We got 0.5" last night. 20 to 30 minute storm with heavy rain and some wind gusts. A little pea-sized hail mixed in for about 15 seconds. Bertram had significant damage to historic buildings. NWS going out later to assess if twister or straight line winds.

I got .28" out of storms that rolled through here about 4:30am. I missed the heaviest part of the line and it moved through quickly. I saw a decent amount of lightning and heard some thunder, but I was half awake on-and-off until it passed.

Got close to 2" last night with a very impressive light show.

I wouldn't be surprised to see eastern portions of DFW get upgraded tomorrow.

If the 0z NAM is to be believed, it should be the whole metro.

If 12z hi-res guidance follows on 6z then I wouldn't be surprised to see another upgrade to ENH for portions of Texas later today.

Agreed. 0-1km srh values on the nam look to crank up to near 300 across the eastern half of the metro around 9pm which makes me think the spin up tornado threat may be a bit undersold.

Still a little dry over DFW, but dewpoints seem to be increasing pretty quickly with 55-60 not too far to the south.

Very noticeable increase in humidity just in the last couple hours. Bring on some good storms!! Nothing severe though, just a light and sound show with heavy rain please.

Seems to be a faint line just south of DFW going north. Maybe that's the warm front bringing humidity. Some kind of boundary I think. I got .80 the other day, but I want more. Just no massive hail. We are in pretty bad drought so need another inch or two to help keep it from getting worse.

The hail hatched area is a bit odd to me.

The fact that it’s shifted left on the 30% area suggests to me that they expect lower coverage and higher intensity before things fill in more

Looks to be making a right turn along the warm front. That area may have locally enhanced low level flow supportive of a tornado.
