you can have it...

News reported the first mosquito sightings tonight *sighs*

The 0z GFS has mid/upper 30s the first week of April in Dallas(the same time the CFS has the cold snap)...

Euro EPS has a full latitude trough centered over the Central US at the end of the run with some members getting DFW below freezing around the 8/9th lol

Even the end of the 12z euro is pretty chilly for lately and thats before most of the cold. Highs struggling to the mid 50s in April?

Low potential for a svr storm or two to pop this afternoon. It looks like there will be several bands of convection over the next few days and models are really struggling with precipitation placement.

Based on the 1-min GOES scans there might be another cell trying to fire to the SE of the current cell. That might track towards the northern burbs, if it gets going.

FWD posted earlier that cell motion would be to the E or SE and that cell is still racing off to the NE. Maybe it will turn as it matures?

Looks like the split is going to take on more of E or SE motion, it also looks like trouble.

Pretty legit storm a little while ago. Strong wind, downpour and 1/2” hail.

Wonderful.
Honestly I can deal with the heat, barely. What gets me about summer is the damn mosquitoes. I've bought 2 big bug zappers to run around the clock.... but let's be honest, that's like putting up a net to stop a tidal wave.

The 0z Euro has upper 20s in DFW on April 4th  Officially 2 freezes on the 3rd and 4th at the airport proper

Mid 30s in Austin and upper 30s down to the coast

Cold air starts flooding in on April 2nd(a week from today). Easter Sunday is sunny and near 80 before the bottom drops out

We are in a wetter pattern, I think, so if we could get lucky with precipitation...
