Insane heat in far Northern Quebec today... Kuujjuaq at 25C (with a humidex of 26C), Umiujaq and Kuujjuarapik at 27C. Needless to say, the records were smashed.

That is absolutely staggering, the heat up there has been amazing. I kept seeing Goose Bay near the high 20s in late May and thought no way. Even more, Yellowknife weeks ago was the hottest spot in all of western Canada...how does this happen!?!?
