Anybody seeing anything of concern for 12/12, 13, 14? WFO PAH is forecasting temps of nearly 70 Saturday, then falling by Monday and just a mention of showers and thunderstorms. SPC isn't showing anything. But while 70 this time of year is great on the heat bill, it makes me nervous.

The SPC outlook doesn't look menacing but you never know with weather.

I know I'm getting a few months ahead of myself but what does the spring severe weather season look like?
I vaguely remember the 97-98 severe weather season, I was 10, which coincidentally is the year I got into weather. But I know it was an El Niño comparable to this year. I grew up in west central Alabama and that was the year we had the F5 Birmingham tornado. Will this year be similar to the 97-98 tornado season?
