Dixie Alley research underway

Chasing and eyewitness detection of tornadoes in the southeast can be troublesome due to dense vegetation and varying degrees of elevation. No flat, endless plains or soft rolling hills that offer great views like in Oklahoma, Kansas or Nebraska.

It's a nightmare chasing down here due to that a lot chasers and spotters look for open area's. Plus the southeast often has nighttime tornadoes
