That appendage on the southwest flank is where folks should be watching imo for any spin ups if there were to be one. Otherwise, looks like another big insurance claim.

This cell has great structure but can't time up the lightning well enough to get a pic.

Yep, it's not looking good for rain around here for at least the next 5 days. Hopefully the system late next week will track far enough south to bring us some rain.

I'm surprised that cells stayed so discrete this evening but luckily there wasn't much low level flow. The wind was basically stagnant outside my house with a warned cell passing off to my NE. The wind did briefly kick up a good bit when a second cell passed a bit closer. Got some interesting scud or maybe a funnel? There appeared to be some rotation and the wind kicked up enough to blow over garbage cans and what not.

that picture was taken when the appendage of the cell passed just to my north

Heh, you in Wylie too? I am and I can faintly hear the sirens probably for the hail in Plano.

I'm ready for this cold front

Yeah, sirens for sure going off. Can't tell if it's Plano or Richardson? Maybe Murphy now?

Wow, more cells starting to fire out NW of Krum. Hopefully, no more hail. The sirens freaked out my family
