We lucked out with the hail last night. Closeby areas didn’t fair so well and got hammered with it. We ended up picking up 2” over night.

Finally some rain today. Nice storms!

Only 1/4 inch surprisingly as long as it lasted. But, it’s something. Probably the only rain for the next month so better enjoy....

Finally!!! A typical May day for a change.. We should be seeing this pretty much on a daily basis this time of year.

We have picked up 1.5 inches since this morning so far. Hearing thunder as I type. More on the way!

Standing water in backyard. Had cracks yesterday. This is the normal May we have been missing! ;)

Camp Mabry (Austin) has seen .86” today . We now have 4.56” for the month of May !!

It’s safe to say that May is now WETTER than normal and that the CPC outlook came to fruition

A lot of the rain has moved to my east. Nothing since that 1.5, but I will take it! More than I have gotten in over three weeks. 4.5 inches here for the month (2 inches, three weeks hot and dry, 1.5 inches).

Haven’t had a drop of rain where I am in over a month, but hopefully that’ll change later today.

Yeah. I'd think the outflow and moisture convergence would stir up something down there. I meant 3.5 inches (not 4.5). I added wrong.lol

For DFW, there are a couple of boundaries drifting around and the sun is coming out. Maybe we can get a couple of late afternoon storms to fire?

I did not expect that tornado warning when I saw it. I think there should have been a 2% chance given how juicy it was this morning IMO. It was in the mid 70s, with a boundary coming in.

The Euro looks interesting especially in East Texas from the tropics... very slow moving storm...some light rain even gets to the 35 corridor

GFS on the flip side has 4 days 100+ in DFW starting Friday through the entire holiday weekend
