Spring 2018 new season, new year. We will likely start out with some drought this Spring. The thread will be open for general discussion starting March 1st.

In general second year Ninas often portray dry and warmer than normal Springs. Some good recent analogs might be Spring 2009 and 2012. Though those two eventually went two different paths after attempting Ninos.

What will spring bring? April showers or April snow? Or will there be 100F?? So many questions..

I look forward to an active spring, one of my favorite seasons. Depending on how the Pacific evolves in both the tropics and mid latitudes, it's possible we could be in for an interesting one.

Meteorological spring is here! It's also my favorite season of the year. Hoping for a stormy one :)

Ah, spring. I'm happy that the drought has been obliterated in NE Texas, and surely the rain won't end here. Should be interesting.

The showers and thunderstorms will continue to move east ahead of a cold front tonight. The rain will end from west to east through the overnight hours. The threat for heavy rain and severe weather will shift mainly to the east of I-35 after midnight.

I'm just hoping we get some thunder here in Ohio, we had a nice rare thunder/small hail storm back in January, I need more of that.

GOES S launches today. It will watch the western US (EPAC also) and is a new toy. If we can get an active Pacific the views will be spectacular

Hoping for a quick warmup and a stormy season, just not stormy on TMS race weekend. But after a miserable winter (for me) I'm up for an #EndlessSummer

Man, had this storm been 100 or so miles south I'd be looking at some decent snow. The storms gonna be wicked in the east coast though. Might get some nice gusts with snow falling tonight though.

That drought monitor may be even better next week since it's delayed a couple days.

See you guys in October. I don’t do the boring warm/hot and humid months.

Adios!

When you grow weary of that, start eating bee pollen granules. It's a natural alternative to shots and actually solves the problem that creates the allergies by letting your body build up immunity to the pollen over time. I've been eating it for 3 years now and have virtually no allergies. I started during cedar season and by the next cedar season, I hardly even remembered that it was cedar season. I eat about a half teaspoon per day.

I may add that, thanks. I’m doing 1 shot per week so it’s not too terrible. All my previous allergies have come down, with some completely gone. Cedar doesn’t bother me anymore, nor does grass. I still had issues with ragweed last Fall though.
