The 00z Euro & EPS show no 100s at DFW over the next two weeks. Also, I believe the upgraded Euro goes active today and supposedly it doesn't have the warm bias that the current version has in the longer range.

first year in Collin County had the closest call to a killer tornado ever(after 25 years in Alabama!) and the biggest hail I've ever seen and one of the biggest snowstorms I've ever seen(of course it's barely snowed since...

Also can't forget the flash flood emergency in 2015

I trust those as far as I can throw them. How many times in January and February did they issue those pretty charts with lots below normal temps for Texas and they were huge busts. Kind of like the 360 GFS this time of the year showing a Cat 5 in the Gulf!

Splitting supercell. One went east while the other went west. There is usually some big hail in those types of storms and that looks like what is occurring right now.

I can confirm getting quite a hailstorm in Irving. Folks are going to wake up with egg to tennis ball size damage..

Yeah the hail was intense for a few minutes. Can't wait to see my car damage!!!!!

Feel sorry for folks up in DFW. Likely a significant hail storm causing lots of damage early this morning. Models didn't do a very good job either...

Keep your eyes on the East Pacific south/southwest of Mexico. Aletta, the first system likely won't have too much direct or indirect effects on us but the following system (Bud) might take a more northwest track toward Baja California. Euro has a western trough digging in with Bud to our southwest. IF that is real it's a recipe for heavy rain, very long range though.

Yep I was noticing that as well. Long range currently looks less hot and dry around here. Let's hope it verifies.

Not a drop, nor hint of a storm at the house over night, but my parents and a few freinds that live in the same area received goldball size hail in central Arlington close to ATT Stadium.
