It’s because nothing nothing of notice is forecast to happen in the Dallas area lol that’s where most of our posters are from so it seems anyways.

More storms look possible up this way on Tuesday night into Wednesday. The real newsworthy weather is the forecasted high of 65 on Wednesday and a low in the low 50s for Wednesday night.

Cool! Two new posts!! :D  Just weird that there were NO posts from yesterday when Cpv17 posted to today when I posted. After the flood in DFW, I guess everyone is cleaning up. Yeah, the majority in here are north Texas posters like Cpv17 mentioned, with not a lot going on, so no posts. I was wondering if everyone went over to another thread like the tropics or something, but nothing stuck out to me in the tropics that's going on. Haven't been following much though, so not sure.

Yeah, looks like Wednesday and maybe Thursday may be a rainy period down here with a front, then diurnal stuff in the 80s Friday through the weekend, highs back in the 80s. Still waiting on the first real front. Been highs in the 70s the past few days with rain on Friday night and overcast with a few sprinkles and mist at times. Been nice. Our lakes have risen 1 to 3 feet in about a month, but Travis is still below average. Not complaining though. One or two more good rain events upstream would be ideal, with cool weather. Looking forward to your cooler weather headed this way (50s/60s Fall weather for us), whenever that is.

I'm loving this weather in Dallas been hard to find sun or get out of the 70s

The front on Wednesday looks pretty decent too

High temperatures on Wednesday are a bit problematic as there is
some spread among the guidance regarding the magnitude of post-
frontal CAA. What appears most likely is that most locations will
experience their calendar day max temperature early in the morning
with the mercury falling through the afternoon for most
locations. The 12 UTC NAM remains the most aggressive and suggests
that air temperatures across the Big Country may not get out of
the 50s...with 60s and 70s elsewhere. I`d like to see a bit more
run-to-run consistency before going all-in on the NAM solution,
but if widespread rain/drizzle coupled with the strong thermal
advection are to verify, this solution may not be too
unreasonable. For now, I`ll hedge towards SREF means and other
blended guidance which lowers the high temperature forecast some
from the previous issuance (highs in the low 60s across the Big
Country -- mid 70s near a Comanche to D/FW to Bonham line --- and
upper 70s to low 80s elsewhere). Bottom line, Wednesday is shaping
up to be a cool, blustery and damp day.

I saw that! I sent the NWS link to my brothers and dad in SA. I remember the 1998 flood. We emptied his five inch rain gauge three or so times on a Saturday back then. Crazy rain!

It is bedtime for me but consider me excited. My day starts at 3:30 in the morning so the 59 forecasted on Thursday I get to experience early. Can't wait. :cold:

The cool front is knocking and some rain is closing in on DFW. Should be a nice couple days on tap for the area. Still a 59 forecasted on Thursday with a light north breeze.

It's in the Upper 50's with a stiff North wind and some more rain moving through in northern Tarrant county. It feels great! I'm excited to break out the sweaters
