Happy September and fall season everyone. By the time this month ends, averages will be in the 64-84 range. Adios summer, we never liked you anyway. :D

Hopefully not another Harvey event! I don't think things will move as slowly as Harvey did, however these predictions are good in a way, as we need rain, but that is a lot of rain!

12z Euro is pretty similar to 0z. Only difference is that it’s moving a bit faster so it has less time over water to strengthen and it landfalls slightly further west in Louisiana than 0z as a tad bit weaker storm. Then it moves a lil bit further north into Louisiana than 0z had it, but then it bucks into a big building ridge over the N. Plains and it sends it back west and sw over Texas and then it gets caught in weak steering currents and meanders around Texas for a while.

looks like 10-20" is more the rule on the 12z Euro... and it gets even as far as the 35 corridor

some amounts approaching 30" between Austin/San Antonio and its still raining at the end of the run :double: stalled over Central TX

welp I had to leave the Buckeyes game early, storm came and caused a delay. The main street that goes through the city basically turned into a river lol.

I’m not sure, but I think the Euro may be overdoing the rainfall totals. Look how much it has over SE Nebraska. Do you really think it’s going to rain that much in NE?

Noticed you signed up a couple days ago. Welcome to the weather board. I have to wonder though, is that a mouse on your shoulder? Hopefully it is a cold weather snow loving good luck mouse.

Thank you for the welcome and good wishes for a snowy winter for the "mouse." :D The critter is actually a sugar glider, however.

and a major cold front at that around September 11/12th!!! Fall is coming :D Widespread lows in the 50s on September 14th

Everyone would be happy with the GFS

It looks like the Euro may be going that way, its definitely weaker coming in like the GFS

Austin goes from nearly 30 inches on the 12z Euro to around an inch at 0z

heaviest rain is E/NE of Houston
