Both are indicating that Texas will see above to perhaps well above normal rainfall over the next few months. It's looking like we're going to have a cool, wet, and active spring this year. I say bring it on!

Hope that forecast is better than the one we saw for this past winter. :cheesy:

I'm going with warm and dry for spring. ;-)

Really weird setup with this storm. There are two warm sectors, a coldfront that's dying and a new front forming in East Texas. This new cold front could produce some strong to severe storms there(thus the marginal risk) and could be the catalyst for some violent storms in Indiana and western Ohio. It will be an interesting storm to research.

Intense line of thunderstorm working through the eastern half of the state right now. Wasn’t expecting to see that one.

Criminy....when are we going to be done with the cold temps once and for all? I'd really like to turn the heat off before having to go full A/C..

Cold front blew through Houston this morning. Afternoon temps down into the upper 70s. Good thing I took my coat to work.

I’m liking the trends for next weekend. GFS and Euro both onboard.

Spring is showing signs. Some of the trees are starting to green. It looks like most of the Texas S2K community is going into hibernation until September or October.

Climo slowly climbs at a more rapid pace going forward. Heat is only weeks away.

The 12z is considerably drier. Hopefully its a blip. Speaking of the euro, the weeklies are not that good either. :/

We’re over in SW Austin, went for a walk outside, 58 degrees but it was sleeting due to evaporative cooling.
