Maybe the GFS ensemble run from this morning? It has rain returning to SE TX at the beginning of April.

Looking more positive in the precip outlook according to the newly released monthly, tri-monthly, and drought forecasts issued today by the CPC.

This humidity/dew point is all over the place. :double: I went for a walk at work and noticed the desert feel. It's fluctuated so much recently, almost as much as the temps.lol

What's that saying, if you don't like the humidity in Texas, wait a few hours? :P

We’re finally experiencing our first beautiful day here in southeast TX today! Yesterday was nice too, but not as nice as today. We’ve had quite a few high cirrus clouds around this week that has limited our sunshine, but hardly a cloud in the sky today! We’ll definitely be needing a good drink of water come April.

Latest Euro Weeklies sure do look good. Wettest run I've seen in a long time. Bring on the rain!

Good lord... that is about 8" of rain for Austin in April. Average is 2.5" -ish. That'd be awesome. Fingers crossed. :Partytime:

Maybe one last blast of out of season chill to end March and start April. That will keep a lid some on severe weather until at least mid-April. Aside from that, nothing really to add on my end that others haven't already mentioned. Days are getting longer as we move for the Summer Solstice.

Looks like 7"-9" or Harris County/Houston Metro area in that time frame. We need some "normal" everyday type of showers rains. Hoping for no deluges!!

Severe weather or not, do you think it gets wetter as we begin April.
