The potentially major cold front and I'm talking an actual real cold front not these less hot fronts we've been having is still on the GFS next week(if y'all recall it was showing up last week at 300+ hours)

These highs would be more normal around Halloween...

We may see our first 50s. If an ULL could hang around I would not be surprised at highs in the 60s and 70s!

NBC 5 just showed an 80/58 for next Wednesday with sunshine and a north breeze. A little slice of heaven.

The heat advisory is definitely weird but I'm kind of surprised at the lack of rain in DFW so far it's like it won't get past 380 basically

Maybe that line out by Mineral Wells will finally make it

Here in north Fort Worth we finally got some rain, and it’s POURING. We got an inch in 15 minutes!

My weather station says it’s a rain rate of 4.61 an hour, which may be the heaviest I have seen.

Yea, it looks like everything behind that outflow from earlier has stayed pretty blah. We had stiff south winds this morning and then it switched to north basically all afternoon. Looks like there might finally be a push east with this next batch of rain?

2.37 for me, plus another 2.51 I received on Sunday morning. So long, summer.

I'll be additional layers to my wall along the Canadian border over the coming days in an attempt to prevent this cold air from reaching Texas next week.

Looks like another day in the low 80s under thick cloud cover with on and off light showers. I could get used to this.

We need to come to an agreement for the definition of "cold", because that my friend is not "cold". It is perfection.

Raining some here. In the 80s. Not bad considering it's been in the 100s for the last month.

A big model showdown brewing up between the GFS and Euro on temps next week. I tend to favor the GFS, since the Euro has been a bit too aggressive with the ridge the past few weeks and has a bias to dumping cold down the Rockies. It seems like we have seen that a lot on the Euro the past couple of cool seasons and it seems to always correct back East with the cold air. Also, I really want lows in the lower 50s vs mid-60s lol

The thing is the Euro had it a few days ago so I'm inclined to believe it comes back

It is still dumping rain here. I am going to end up in the 6-8" storm total range by this evening.
