Thursday looks like it might be the real deal here... It's been a while since I've been in a 30 hatched on a Day 3 outlook

The SPC mentioned it as ‘Severe’ on Day 4 Yesterday.
And yes, it really could be!

Is it gonna be actual supercells or just a big squall line

Might be both but the supercells would be a conditional threat. The main action will likely be the squall line. I will say though that the Hazardous Weather Outlook from TSA is one of the most bullish I've seen in a while at the 48 hour range so I think we could be in for a heck of a ride. I'm thinking maybe a moderate risk for wind and maybe a 10% tornado risk by day 1 but we'll see

15 hatched for KS. First one in May since 2019. Hopefully everything big stays over open fields.

From the SPC concerning today 5/26/2021...
A Moderate Risk of Severe Thunderstorms is Forecast Today and/or Tonight
A regional outbreak of severe thunderstorms is expected across the central Great Plains this afternoon through tonight. The greatest tornado threat, including the potential for strong tornadoes, is expected between 5 to 11 PM CDT. Intense damaging winds and very large hail are expected as well.
Sounds like a serious day in the plains today, watch out!

Several PDS warnings already. Twin tornadoes and large wedge earlier as well. Yeah today is already in outbreak mode. Hard to believe this was a 5% tornado risk until this morning. Shows how quickly things can change

Re: Great Plains, Midwest, & Deep South Storm Season 2021
Pretty crazy event so far. Not a whole lot of action in western Kansas so far but other than that it's been a pretty big event. Should see the MCS develop soon and start marching through the moderate/enhanced risks. At the time of this post there's 27 tornado reports, 324 wind, and 127 hail. Those numbers will continue to rise and it's possible we could be looking at the second 500+ wind report day of the month when today's event is done.
As for tomorrow, I still think it's possible we could see a wind driven moderate somewhere, although if that's the case I think they'll wait until the 13z or 1630z outlook to see what's going on with morning convection, cloud cover. Although cloud cover doesn't really hurt MCS's as much around here. 0z HRRR has the strongest line in W and C OK moving SE, with tornado threat/separate line in N/NE/E OK. Should be another big day and I should get some action up here for the first time since 4/9 and only the second time this entire year.

Storms were originally supposed to get here around 6. Now it's 12-3. Wow what a difference lol. Probably won't see any increase in probs here because of how early they're going to get here now. I have an outdoor job and I get off at 2 so I'm either going to be in it or driving in it. Rip

Yeah we'll see. They're getting a little more of an eastern movement now which should transition to SE soon. But I've gotten more severe warnings today than I have the whole year so I'm good lol
