Congrats! That’s great news. I lived in Wichita for a year before moving to Texas. Love that city. Traffic is a breeze. Knollas Pizza is the best. We bring it down to Texas every time we are in Kansas seeing family.

Heads up for those under severe watch #82. SPC issued a special Day 1 outlook expanding the slight risk further into TX for the possibility of "giant hail"...

I am in no way a professional. Take what I say with a grain of salt as I could be totally wrong. Please refer to the NHC, NWS, or SPC for official information.

Dryline currently running down I35 with 5k CAPE to the east. Storms along cold front should unzip down towards eastern DFW over the next hour or so but will it be fast enough to clip the burbs?

Pattern looks to turn wet for most of Texas. Need to play catch up in a lot of areas after a dry start to April.

Hopefully areas south of I-10 will actually get something.

Yeah it looks on the models like the storms wouldn’t get here until the middle of the night when instability starts to back off. We’ll see though
