The GFS has begun to trend towards the CMC with a cutoff low developing in the Southwest next week and the moving it into the Southern Plains. This could be an opportunity for rain in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas if this plays out.

The new Para-Euro has been showing this for a few runs now with a pretty big Southern Plains rain event. The 12z Op Euro jumped on it today. Let's see if it sticks.

The ECMWF-Para? Can I see what it looks like and if there is any sites for me to see it?

Ugh. Hopefully just a few days. I am sure we will have some hot days even into late October. It's the Southern Plains.

Well I did it. I opened some windows and it doesn't feel hot at all. Hopefully we can make it through the night without the a/c. Maybe one day at least anyway. If at bedtime I feel the slightest bit warm the a/c comes back on.

I didn't make it. With dinner duty tonight with an oven/three burners going I couldn't take it anymore. A/C is on and flowing strong. Perhaps I will try again near Halloween.

Looks like the wet pattern will focus over West TX. They got plenty of rain with the monsoon. Frustrating. DFW bone dry still.

Not really. All the models show most of TX getting 1-3" including the ensembles this PM

Ensembles look really good. 12z OP GFS & Euro are on the west side of ensemble guidance and the 12z Para-Euro looks a lot like the Euro EPS mean.
