Glen Rose storm is now severe warned and moving NE.

Per FWD's forecast graphics, the chance of storms this morning is pretty meh for DFW. Saturday flooding rain primarily west of DFW. Sunday, primarily east.

Sounds about right.

There is one storm trying SW of DFW though.

Definitely giving "The Little Engine That Could" energy right now with radar/satellite trends, although I still feel the best threat will be confined to the SE half of the Metroplex.

SW DFW storm echoes are decreasing with every scan, so probably it will be just a light shower by the time it hits me in Saginaw/N F Worth, which is good....don't want hail on my car at work.

Tornado watch issued for DFW on east...was expecting a severe thunderstorm watch.

And the SW storm is strengthening again along with a few other ones nearby.

Storm west of Killeen is the one to watch in the short term.

Only a few sprinkles here at the house in Southern Tarrant. Sun is peaking through the clouds and most of the rain was west of Mansfield/Arlington

10# tornado area added east and south of DFW including Waco for the ongoing supercell. Looks like SPC is getting more concerned

I am in no way a professional. Take what I say with a grain of salt as I could be totally wrong. Please refer to the NHC, NWS, or SPC for official information.

I hope that isn't a hailer coming my way. That cell looks dangerous.

Storm just dumped quite a bit nickel to quarter size hail. Had run out and pull Runner under the front tree for some protection :grr:

This storm cutting across eastern Tarrant is a nasty hailer

Those early morning "It's never going to rain again" posts are always a great call....
