just stepped outside five minutes ago and want to say that the cold front that is eventually going to shove all that moisture back to the gulf is on the move and nearing my part of Central IL.

Oh, Pawlee, it's rained every evening this week, here! We can't
even get into the garden because it's so muddy! I hear thunder back
in the southwest, as I type, and, yet another cloud is rolling in - I
can't wait until things dry out a little...thanks for the encouragement!

the front was slow to arrive but did so overnight @ around 4 AM CDT leaving in it's wake .38 of precip in my area. the wx is already taking a turn for the better with a temp of 78 expected here today along with drying conditions so as said... relief is on the way!!! p

(for you southerners, just gotta get through one more round i suppose. hang in there! we feel for ya'!)

We had a big pouring-down storm around lunch, today,
but, it cleared out with an actual sunset! Yes - you're
right - there is hope for tomorrow! :D
