Enjoy the coming cool down...you know our permanent friend the southeast ridge is going to find a way to muscle back in. a max of near 70 for mid peninsula next Wednesday is going to be amazing...it's been a struggle to get there for a low as of late..

Oh yeah, well aware of the + NAO upcoming Psyclone, likely by Nov.20. I am hoping the +PNA can help offset the +NAO, as I have discussed in recent posts.

Model trends are definitely not as cold for Florida for next week’s arctic blast. Still looks to bring some cooler temps which are more normal for this time of year.

I will be happy with refreshing temps only in the 70s for highs to low 80s at the most over the next week or so, as much as I love tropical wx my A/C needs a break and so does my wallet

After mid November the latest NAO shows it going negative which is a good sign so maybe their might be hope to get out of the summer heat and humidity.

:uarrow: At the start of this month last week the forecast called for positive NAO definitely through the first half of the month. I had not checked the latest forecast index since the first of the month and indeed it is forecastng the NAO to go negative toward the latter portion.of the month.

Now, just a quick reminder how many times I have seen these forecasts for the NAO to go negative since 2011 during winter season , including last winter. :double:
I will just have to take the actual come into fruition to believe it approach. It is one of the most comfounding aspects (not having a negative NAO during late Fall into Winter) I have ever seen in my time in this business.

So we will see if this will FINALLY happen this time

Two runs in a row the Euro shows lows in the upper 40s to low 50s for the I-4 corridor on Wednesday morning with widespread 30s from Ocala northward. Meanwhile the GFS has stayed much warmer with lows only in the upper 50s to low 60s for for the I-4 corridor.

I notice that NWS Miami isn't really biting on a significant cool-down. They are showing low of 70 Tuesday morning. Which will probably feel "cooler," but I swear if people start breaking out the jackets and moon boots for this I am going to lose it.

Both Euro and the GFS show a rather potent low pressure system crossing central FL in about a week. Could be some severe wx if it holds up

But as of last night's Euro run there is a fairly significance in timing and track of the low pressure with the GFS showing a further northerly track across the northern FL while the Euro shows it tracking across central FL on Friday with instability further south.
Looks like the 12z Euro is coming in closer to the GFS run compared to last night's run.

Visible sat and temps obs show summer getting slowly booted down the peninsula. Our long awaited transformation to consistent mid latitude (cold season) weather is finally underway.

Looks like the GFS is showing that low pressure area off the coast of east Florida wrapping cool, dry air around it and over the state. Might be how we finally get some of that cooler weather into the Peninsula.

My posts are my own personal opinion, defer to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and other NOAA products for decision making during hurricane season.

Yep, it will be hard to find 80s across the Peninsula tomorrow, but 80s return for early next week with S FL staying in the 80s with high humidity through the end of the week.

Earlier forecasted highs only in the 60s for Wednesday & 40s for lows for the I-4 corridor are quickly disappearing.

70F and rain here in SE Florida. Feels “raw” compared to what we have been used to.
