Well I've gone with Klaus for Jan but I think the Aus heatwave is going to be up there for Feb as well. It reached 47.9C in the Melbourne area a couple of days ago breaking max temp records all over the place and setting off the severe bush fires which have so far killed at least 84 and destroyed entire towns. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/7877178.stm
