Geomagneti Storm in Progress

The Geomagnetic fiels is at major storm levels. Observers in the northern tier states have a chance to see visual aurora from dark sky locations. It has already been seen in Michigan

Too bad. I'm probably lucky to see 4.0 mag stars where I am. Damn mall parking lot.

Reports of visual aurbo from MN/MI/WI and Quebec. Another CME is due in in about 18 hours.
