I am thinking of having an in house generator 9natural gas) installed for my home, but I have several questions which hopefully memebers of the board can help and have had experence with this :
1) Which whole house generator is better? Kholer, Centurion (both from Lowes), or Guaderian Generac (from Home Depot)?
2) Also which is the quitest running?
3) Who is better with the installation, Lowes or Home Depot?
4) Which is better - "air cooled" or "liquid cooled"?
5) Which has the better warrenty & customer service?
Any other advice, tips would be greatly appreciated.
I noticed there is a generater link, if this needs to be there please move it.
Thanks for the help.

Re: Which Generator is Better??
when I lived in Ft Myers hurricane Charley came through. I had a 7kw generac. It was enough for the basics. I would recommend a higher wattage one though. It worked when it should have. as far as being quiet...I think all of them are kind of loud but when faced with no power, I really didn't care. my neighbor tried to find a generator too late and the whole SW FL was sold out, he went to orlando to buy one and come back. hope this helps
