1st Annual 2005 Hurricane Awards

#1 Postby krysof » Mon Nov 14, 2005 8:59 pm

I thought this would be fun.

There will be 7 Categories to choose from. 4 nominees in each category.

The first Category is Best Persistent Storm.

I want at least 4 nominees before I move on to the next category. After all the people have chosen the nominees, We can begin the official voting for the nominees in the categories.

Wow, that's a toughie, but I will have to nominate Hurricane Irene. It was the longest storm of the season, yet it fluctuated many, many times.

My nomination goes to Irene.

EDIT: Looks like I'm not the only one thinking her . . .

Could I nominate Franklin for its persistence, even though I already nominated someone?

You can't nominate more than once in one category. Someone else would have to nominate Franklin.

Also I have three nominees: Irene, Vince, and Ophelia. I need one more. Would anyone like to nominate Franklin since hurricanehink can't nominate more than once in a Category.

It's good but I want to stay away from TD's in the nominees.

In case of a depression, then the award would go to TD 16-E.
