Associated with a ULL maybe?

It kindaof popped out of nowhere but it is that time of year. Thoughts?

Nothing currently at the surface. The NAM has some inverted trough or weak low forming in the bahamas in a few days.

Local Met Saturday night forecasted a Tropical Wave for Wednesday/Thursday.
Maybe this little system was what he was referrring to.
Seemed a mystery at the time.

From this morning's San Juan AFD:

TUTT LOW NORTH OF PR WILL DRIFT TO THE WEST SOUTHWEST
AND SETTLE OVR HISPANIOLA BY TONIGHT.

RAMSDIS screwed up and put their Floater over this feature instead of 94L. Somebody must not have been awake or paying attention.

With most watching Erika this disturbance is starting to gets it's act together.
850mb vorticity increasing

I'm not sure if it's this same feature per se or just a cutoff of the stalled out front, but the 12z CMC develops something off the East Coast and races it off into Canada.
