here's another one that has a chance to develop acording to the models and looks good on satellite, is it me or does the Atlantic look more like August-September rather than October

This is a totally different wave just west of the Cape Verde Islands, not mentioned by the NHC.

Indeed this is one of the best waves I've seen all season. Quite an impressive burst of activity all of a sudden.

Re: Wave near the Cape Verde Islands
It is the most impressive wave in a while this season near CV islands. Shear looks to be on the high side.....MGC

Re: Wave near the Cape Verde Islands
A concentrated area of showers and thunderstorms located several
hundred miles west of the Cape Verde Islands is associated with
a westward-moving tropical wave. Upper-level winds are not
favorable, and significant development of this system is unlikely.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...10 percent.

Re: Wave near the Cape Verde Islands
Guess it would be too confusing if they had 91L far east of 90L.
Hope this one turns out to be the season closer for 2014.
