Next tropical wave emerging off Africa (Is Invest 97L)

There isn't a thread for this wave yet but NHC has it at 40%. Some models do develop it, but they aren't too crazy like they are with 95L.

10/40 on the 8 am TWO:

4. Another large area of disturbed weather associated with a tropical
wave is beginning to move off the west coast of Africa.
Environmental conditions appear conducive for development
during the next few days, and a tropical depression could form
over the far eastern tropical Atlantic early next week while the
system moves slowly westward. Upper-level winds could become less
conducive for development by Monday or Tuesday.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent.

Models still don't seem too impressed with this. It might become like Rene and struggle in the wake of what is now 95L (Sally or Teddy).

I think your edit is right, the ensembles above appear to be from the wave after this next tropical wave. Looks like the tropics may stay busy for quite a while.

3. Another area of disturbed weather, associated with a tropical wave, is located near the Cabo Verde Islands.  Environmental conditions support some development during the next few days, and a tropical depression could form over the far eastern tropical Atlantic early next week while the system moves slowly westward. By mid-week, upper-level winds could become less conducive for development.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...30 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...60 percent.
