It might have been a cat 4 for a short time around 3AM EST but 125MPH looks about correct right now.

Not yet. It won't officially make landfall until the center of the eye comes onshore.

126-knot flight level winds were reported near Cape Sable.

NHC is full of it...it hit with winds of 130mph and they know it. 126kts is 130mph.

With that 126 knots it made landfall with 130.4 mph winds...I expect the nhc to up it later to 130.

At least the big winds came in on unpopulated areas. But Miami/Ft Laud.... they could get 120 sustained.
