Interesting that no one has gone for 99L. That one appears to have the best chance short term. It has strong convection and a nearly closed LLC.

You asked which will develop first. There is a very slim chance that all of them will develop at once, and also a low chance that none of them will. I think that 90/91 will develop very closely together. I think 91 may develop first followed by 90 very soon after.

I went with 91L. It's looking good and it's more of a land threat than the others right now. I do expect at least one of these 3 invests to develop.

91L by tomarrow night around 11pm est.

90L possiblity by 5pm est Monday. If it don't poof because of the sal.

I think 90L is closer to being a tropical depression, technically, but it is farther from land.

99L is the only one with even close to a LLC. Based on satellite I would say it has started to develop a west wind. I would watch it as it is recurving out of the MDR to form into a tropical cyclones.

what's a west wind?

A west wind is what you find on the southern side of a closed low. West around the southern side, with a eastly wind on the northern side of a system. This is a "wind field" that forms at the lower levels which is what a LLC is. Also the LLC has the lowest pressures inside of the center.

If theres a west wind, because the southern half of a LLC is normally the weakest, then finding a west wind can be a strong sign that we have a depression.

Not only is it the most impressive looking of the three right now, it's also in the best position to be classified a depression in the near future, since it presents an obvious and more immediate danger to land, and thus will be treated with greater urgency by the NHC.

99L isn't looking so hot right now, and seems likely to recurve if it does develop. 90L is something to watch, but its future is anything but certain.
